Argentina Lithium Applies to Extend Warrants
Argentina Lithium Corp. (TSXV: LIT) (FSE: OAY3) (OTC: PNXLF) (“Argentina Lithium” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the Company has applied to the TSX Venture Exchange (the “Exchange”) for approval to extend the expiry date of 9,059,062 warrants (the “Warrants”) that were issued in connection with a non-brokered private placement which closed on December 29, 2017. Each Warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share of the Company at an exercise price of $0.50 per share and will expire on December 29, 2019.
The Company proposes to extend the expiry date of the Warrants by one year to December 29, 2020, subject to the approval of the Exchange. The exercise price of the Warrants will remain unchanged.
All other terms and conditions of the Warrants will remain the same. The Warrants are subject to an acceleration clause whereby if the closing price of the Company’s common shares on the Exchange is $1.00 or greater for a period of 10 consecutive trading days, the Company may accelerate the expiry date of the Warrants by giving notice to the holders thereof and in such case, the Warrants will expire on the 30th day after the date on which such notice is given by the Company.
In accordance with Exchange policy, the Company will be seeking approval from the shareholders of the Company for the extension of the Warrants at the Company’s upcoming annual and special meeting of shareholders scheduled for April 25, 2019.
